The Blizzard of 2010 has hit Virginia!! Grocery stores were packed before it hit - I ventured into Giant yesterday morning early to get some milk (of course!) and a few other things to be safe; and although it was busy, I was able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Then back home to shut myself inside our warm house! Thank God for warm houses!!! On cold winter days and, especially, nights, I'm so grateful for a warm house and cozy fire, not to mention warm clothes and enough food. Thank you God for your provision!
I thought this would be fun - a little time-lapse set of shots out our front door... (There was a bit of snow on the ground to begin with.) And it's still coming down as of 1pm on Saturday! It's not as heavy now, so it'll probably stop soon.......
*EDIT* As I was writing this blog, Jeff told me we're supposed to get 4-8 more inches of snow by tonight!! He said our area has gotten 24-32 inches by now, but it's not letting up...

Allie's like, "Aren't you coming out??? Come and play come and play!!" And I say back to her, "I don't think so, Allie... You have fun, and bark when you wanna come back in..." She gets disappointed, but she gets over it. :)

Here's the first shot this morning:

And a wall of snow forming at the front door:

A few random pics throughout the storm:

Kiff got snowed in at a friend's house (on purpose, of course), and Phil is working with one other guy all weekend - he's plowing, 6 hours on and 6 off (to sleep). Better him than me!! (Better he than I?) So Jeff and I are enjoying having the house to ourselves - which is a rare treat. :)
Hope you all are enjoying the snow... And if you're not in the snow, then enjoy the pictures!
